  BanglaLion Communications Ltd is going to start ther Wimax service from 1st june 2009. They are the 1st company who are going to provide Wimax in bangladesh.

WiMAX, meaning Worldwide Inter-operability for Microwave Access, is a telecommunications technology that provides wireless transmission of data using a variety of transmission modes, from point-to-multipoint links to portable and fully mobile internet access.

Initialy banglaLion is offering 128kbps package.

  • Home User/Individual ----- Tk 600 / Month
  • Corporate (5-10 users) ----- Tk 550 / Month
  • Corporate (10 users above) ----- Tk 500 / Month
  • Day User (Max3GB) ----- Tk 45 / Day
  • Night Package ---- Tk 300 / Month (12 AM to 9 AM =9 hrs)
