Well im about to buy a new phone, but cant really decided between these two.
If you own either of them could please tell me hows your experience with it and how does the touchscreen feels(easy or hard to use)And what about the screen in the cold weather.

I know that many people will disagree with me in this, but my vote goes to n81. More to the fact its s60v3 - more games - more themes - more applications - n81's lastest firmware is hackable, so u can install anything which you found here. Nevertheless, there is n-gage 2.0 compatibility.

Nokia 5800 is better in many ways too, like Camera, its 3.5megapixels whereas n81 is 2.0megapixels, but the latest firmware isn't hackable, and s60v5 is a new symbian OS, so there'll be less games/app/theme, however proven most s60v3 stuffs to work with s60v5, somehow when installed there are some bugs like, screen resolution problems. But the thing I like about it is HSDPA, if u are choosing to use 3G services, u can browse internet with a fast speed with HSDPA instead of n81 u'll need to either use GPRS/WIFI.

I'd go with the Nokia 5800. Yes it's pretty new and not much is out there for it yet but guess what, since its the latest s60v5 from Nokia, i'm pretty sure MOST of their focus is going to be on it. Plus i have it and it's a lot of fun to use. The ovi store should be opening up soon and there should be a lot of new apps and games for it. My vote is for the 5800 =]
